There's a lot to hate about AI, but if you're old and have only one photo of yourself that you like, it can help you remember who you were half a century ago.
We explore the intriguing concept that "the past is alive" through a visually rich montage, featuring a man navigating various settings from grand ballrooms to peaceful sunsets. This cinematic storytelling creates an emotional short film, inviting viewers to reflect on the echoes of yesterday. The poignant song and reflective music underscore the journey, making for a truly captivating story. 🌅
This is Ironic. A song called "Don't Let Me Cross Your Mind trurns out to be exactly how I want to be remembered. The video was created using a photo taken in 1978 in Portales, New Mexico by my friend Steve Heller. I was 18 in the photo. I fed to photo into a few different AI lip-sync apps and they seem to have captured a bit of who I was then. I have been down a rabbit hole Richard Feynman and Carl Sagan lectures on time and reality. If the past is still alive it may be mocking me but it does my heart good to think my younger self is still out there, dreaming of Rome and disco balls, and lost love.
Here is the photo Steve took in Octoner of 1978.
And here is the resulting music video.
Yeah, you hate AI, but when you're old and you can't remember who you were, or who you WANTED TO BE, maybe a technology time machine might come in handy.
